We started with a dog who couldn't get comfortable.
Thirteen years old, arthritic hips, and a bed that had gone flat eight months after we bought it. Every night the same routine: circle, sigh, lie down, get up again twenty minutes later.
We bought four more beds that year. Three were shredded foam in a nice cover. The fourth was the right thing — and it had been sitting there the whole time behind a product page so vague we'd scrolled straight past it.
That's the problem Wagwell exists to fix. Not a shortage of pet products — there are millions. A shortage of honest ones.
How we choose what to sell
We carry a small range on purpose. Every product has to earn its place:
- It solves one specific problem. Stiff joints. Storm panic. A dog who swallows dinner whole. If we can't name the problem in a sentence, we don't stock it.
- We order it ourselves first. Every item gets bought at full price, unboxed, and used before it goes on this site.
- The page tells you the downsides. The GPS tracker needs a monthly data plan. The anxiety vest won't fix severe separation anxiety on its own. You'll find both of those written on the product pages, because you'd find out anyway — better before you pay than after.
What we're not
We're not veterinarians, and nothing we sell is a medical treatment. When something on this site touches your dog's health, we'll say plainly that it works alongside your vet's advice, not instead of it.
The guarantee
Thirty days. If your dog won't use it, if the size is wrong, if it just isn't what you hoped — email us and we sort it out. We'd rather refund you than argue with you.
Questions, sizing help, or a photo of your dog: support@wagwell.com. A person reads every one.
